Hello!

I’m Emily, a wedding filmmaker and TV documentary

producer/director.

I love telling stories on film. From history to the arts,

making babies and saving lives – I’ve filmed a lot of

stories! The most joyous stories to film are about people in

love and people having fun, which is why I get a huge

kick out of filming weddings.

From the chaos of coaxing flower girls into their

headdresses, to the watery eyes of your parents as you say

“I do” and the new dance moves invented on a debauched

dance-floor, my style is to build a very intimate and

personal portrait of your beautiful day, on film.

Having honed my craft through years in the documentary

business, I combine cinematic techniques with an

observational approach to wedding filmmaking.

Working alone, from the consultation process to the edit,

my films are handcrafted with every frame thought

through.

On the big day, I capture main events and those little

moments that happen in the blink of an eye, remaining

discrete at all times. To do this, I use a DSLR style camera

which is small and discrete but shoots clear HD footage

and has a cinematic quality. I typically film from the start

of the day - the final preparations in the morning, bride

getting ready and ushers lunch - up until an hour or so

after the first dance, but all this will be talked through in

the consultation process.

The end result is an emotive film set to music of your

choice.
